My name is Michael Kindle, I am twenty years old and currently enrolled as a student at SPSCC, and have been taking classes on and off since I graduated from Rainier High school in 2009. I have also worked for Sears since August of 2009 and been a volunteer youth leader for the Yelm middle school branch of Younglife since the beginning of 2010. I am usually busy but love everything that I do from learning at school, to reaching out to kids in middle school. In my free time I love reading, anything and everything I can get my hands on, listen and relax to great music, write, and various, randomly interesting things.
Some of my more prominate goals in life deal with school. I love learning, especially the liberal arts. History, theology, english, drama, socialogy, psychology, philosophy etc. So I really would love to get my Bachelors in English and then go on to get my masters in english, thoeology and/or philosophy and even my PhD in one of those as well. Another one of my dreams is so serve God around the world, learning about and reaching out to various cultures and people through missions.
I am going partially because of my original passion to reach out to the world, and immerse myself in various cultures and reach out to them but I also want to go because our mission for going down there simply resonates with who I am. No matter how menial or grand the job may be. I want to go because I truly want have this time with the Lord where I am immersed in just serving His people and serving Him so consistantly all day for three months. It is as exciting as it is daunting.
